When I customer says ... "I like them all! I can't decide..."
it is the best feeling in the world that you have curated the kinds of items that make her heart beat a bit faster.
"The Gutsy Goodness team clearly love what they do, and it shows everywhere from the customer service, to the product, and on to the follow up after the order is received."
"I reached out to Lisa, and was not at all surprised to see that the maker of this jewelry was as lovely as the necklace itself! Lisa quickly replied to all of my requests, quickly filled my orders, stayed in close touch with me, and became a loving supporter of my business as well." - Amy, Soul Song LLC
We are honored to be a part of Boutique Hub.
Hi, I'm Lisa.
Maybe you are familiar with Gutsy Goodness? ... Or maybe not...
Perhaps someone walked into your shop wearing one of our necklaces and you asked "Where did you find that?" and you ended up here.
Or maybe we met online and I sent you to this page.
The important thing is you're here... and we get an opportunity to connect.
And I am glad to connect, because honestly? You are probably my kind of person.
Running a boutique, any kind of retail shop... takes a LOT of work.
In my twenties I was the assistant manager of a small boutique in Eugene, Oregon.
The kind of shop that the ladies in town would call and say...
"Did you get those new blouses in yet? Because you know I have a dinner on Friday, honey, and I am planning on wearing a bright color you suggested."
I also did the windows and it was so fun to take an item that wasn't moving... put it in the window with a scarf and some decor I borrowed from another shop, maybe a sweater and add some jewelry...
and soon everyone was coming in to try it on.
Ahh... it brings back memories... I really loved it.
Then I moved to San Diego and went to the "Rodeo Drive" of San Diego-- Girard Avenue in the internationally acclaimed La Jolla (pronounced "La, hoya" I quickly learned.) I worked at a high boutique pretending I knew what I was doing.
If I would have had to pay for all the parking tickets I got (thanks, mom and dad) I would not have broken even.
But I had the opportunity to wait on customers from all over the world. I did the boutique's windows that were seen by thousands of tourists.
And yeah, I annoyed a few customers too because I didn't know yet how to spell addresses like San Juan Capistrano. (30+ years later and I still remember that woman rolling her eyes at me when I asked her to spell it.)
So I may not know youyet ...
but I know enough to know owning a boutique is hard....
So I can assume you must be...
a hard worker...
with a dream and a plan...
The kind of woman who makes people say... "why on earth are you doing that?"
...and then one day they ask "Now... tell me... howdid you do that?"
And you're looking for the kind of products that your customers will swoon over.
... And then come back and ask for more for the friends they thought of later.
That's the kind of jewelry I make... because it's the kind I like to wear... and to give away.
The kind of jewelry that says "You did it!"
... or "hang in there..."
... or "God knows..."
... and "I see you."
The kind that reminds me of a message I want to claim...
or a message I may even want to proclaim...
Typically "handmade" can mean...
... slow.... and ... expensive...
That's not us.
We price our jewelry affordable and offer standard industry wholesale discounts to our resellers.
To be honest, we are only recently branching out into wholesale. We wanted to make sure we got everything right first.
After 5 years and over 100,000 sales, we think we have a pretty good idea of how we can help you give your customers jewelry pieces they will love.
You need companies you can count on who delivery quality products in a timely matter. You need to know your orders will arrive on time and correct. Yes, we have only recently branched out into wholesale but we've done hundreds of bulk orders for individual customers and know exactly what is needed to build those trusted relationships.
